Areca Valley: a park of Li and Miao culture

Uganda new vision newspaper reporter Taddeo reported on April 11th: areca Valley Heritage Park is one of the most famous tourist attractions in southern China's Sanya province. The total area of 333 hectares of scenic spots, visitors can experience the ancient life of Li and Miao and visit the large non heritage village.
Visitors can enjoy the local culture through the performances of Li and Miao people of the two ethnic groups. In addition to the beautiful tropical scenery, areca Valley is also a long history of ancient “ museum ”. Areca Valley has “ the living fossil of Hainan minority culture, &rdquo, and is well established by the Chinese government as the center of national intangible cultural heritage. Visitors can learn about the local life more than 100 years ago.
UNESCO will be the traditional spinning weaving and embroidery as the urgent need to protect the intangible cultural heritage. Founded in 1998, areca Valley is a tourist attraction dedicated to protecting the ancient culture of Li nationality. In the park, there are many aboriginal centers that can experience the simple way of life of Li and Miao people, and the Museum of Arts and crafts that show costumes, works of art and handicrafts.
Their way of life is similar to that of the African people. Wandering in the park, you can go into the hall of honor, totem Museum and non Heritage Exhibition hall. The centuries old granary, the ancient nose flute, the pottery, the coconut workshop and the tattoo museum are fascinating. The museum displays the brocade art could disappear in 10 years. Here, visitors can also learn how to brew wine and whiskey through ancient winemaking techniques and food.
